In music there should be both discipline and fun from both sides. If you’re playing a piece you love you’re going to be way more motivated to practice and put in the work, so there should be an openness from both sides regarding the repertoire. I think theory and technique are important, especially because I started piano without really learning those aspects and that made my journey a lot more difficult and meant I had to work a lot harder later on, just catching up.
I’ve played piano for many years and also play violin, guitar, drums, and I sing. I’m a first year student studying music production in London. I’ve taught guitar and piano before I moved to London and would like to pick that up again.
I also compose music for short films, and write songs.
