I like to involve learners as much as possible in learning and always try to foster good relationships with the learners so that they will try their best.
I always encourage learners to offer their opinions and will not put anyone down if they give incorrect answers.

I have a very keen interest in sports and keeping fit and have played badminton to county standard for many years. I have run in 4 London marathons between 1992 and 1996 raising a great deal of money for charity. I am a very competitive bridge player (Grand Master and Welsh international). As Welsh junior bridge co-ordinator I was responsible for training and managing junior teams in the Home Nations championship, two of my pupils becoming junior internationals. I have enjoyed playing rugby but have now retired! I also enjoy cooking and eating ,going to the gym and taking my dogs for a walk.
