I can teach secondary, GCSE and AS maths and without a doubt, practice is what makes perfect in maths. I always teach the theory first and try to explain it simply, just as I understand it. Then, it is all about the practice, with the past exam papers being a priority as it is fundamental to understand the exam technique and how to tackle tricky exam questions. Constant practice and a deep understanding of each topic in maths allowed me to achieve an A* in GCSE and a B in AS maths.
For 3 years now, I have been working part-time in a secondary school as a teaching assistant where I help year 7-11 student with maths, both in group and one-to-one sessions.
