I believe that mathematical dexterity can be achieved through knowing the reasons for why something works mathematically. Forcing students to simply accept that something is true is not good enough as it requires students to just memorise processes. Maths is not a subject that requires much memorisation; it requires logic and a patient understanding. I am committed to making sure students flawlessly get to grips with this new GCSE and A Level through practice, practice and more practice: the only way to succeed in maths.
I am 17 years old; at the moment I am in Sixth Form and am studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Latin. I will have sat the Edexcel A Level Maths Exams in June 2018. Mathematics is my passion, and you need not worry about my age since I am very qualified, having received 13 A*s at GCSE, including a 9 in maths. I am predicted an A* in A Level maths. I am also comfortable with helping AQA Level 2 Further Maths candidates, a qualification in which I received an A* with distinction (A^). In future, I plan to study Mathematics at Cambridge when I finish college, so it is a subject I am very passionate about.
I hope to see you soon!
