My greatest satisfaction always comes from seeing my clients enjoy their progress. Experience the difference between learning to swim and learning to swim the right way.
I also teach swimming based on the principles of the Alexander Technique together with the focus on body awareness and its alignment. This technique of swimming focuses to generate Alexander Popov’s 3 R’s : Rhythm, Relaxation and Range of movement and is good for clients who are recovering after an operation of the knee, hip or any other injury. The emphasis of this type of swimming is focus on a quality of experience rather than distance or speed and building better body awareness by transforming swimmers’ relationship with the water.
Whether working with nervous beginners who need to conquer their fear of water or with more advanced swimmers who want to reach triathlon or other swimming goals, I am certain that I can help you improve your results through supportive and experienced instruction.
I will help you develop body awareness with breathing techniques and swimming confidence in the water and we will go through nitty-gritty details of of any four swimming strokes or synchronised swimming figures and sculling positions that you wish to achieve.
Experienced in teaching professional athletes, people with special needs, adults, children and babies. I have also had a chance to work with one of our county's swimming Olympians Mr. David Wilkie - MBE during 1990s and was part of the team campaign before London 2012 to narrow the gap in gender inequality between men and women in synchronised swimming. Now men are able to swim in mix duets and teams in National and International competitions.
I am very proud of what I have achieved with clients who have put an awful lot of commitment and dedication into reaching their goals.

Perfect! Sanela has achieved a small miracle with my daughter who has learnt to swim with Sanela in just 2 hours!
Sanela is calm, patient and has the ability to instill confidence in children which is so important for learning.
Thank you Sanela!
Amelie responded well in her first lesson. She managed to learn to float on her front within the first 20 minutes of the lesson. I was very delighted for this little girl. An amazing result!
I know Sanela as my son's swimming teacher. She is a calm and patient teacher. My son's confidence went up and he improved quickly in swimming. I would strongly recommend Sanela as a swimming teacher.
“I am writing to share with you my delight and appreciation of your swimming program and teaching method.
As a mother and grandmother ( of many children) over the past 45 years I have watched literally dozens of swimming lessons and observed many swimming teachers in action.
Never have I felt moved to write about a swimming teacher till now.
I have been delighted and impressed watching Sanela teaching my four year old grand daughter in her private lessons and have also watched her teach others.
Sanela's ability to instil confidence and enthusiasm in these children is extraordinary. She has a clear understanding of each child and they all want to try their best for her - plus they have fun while they learn.
Her passion and love for teaching children to swim correctly and elegantly is obvious to anyone who has the good fortune of seeing her in action.
My grand daughter has benefited enormously from this important training. She still remembers very clearly the pleasure she had learning to swim with Sanela and the skills she taught her will be with her for life.
She’s an expert swimming coach, able to combine outstanding technical skills and supportive, inspirational communication to make your lesson always a great, positive experience. She has a special, right touch to work with children and teenagers as well. Highly reccomanded!
