As a previous squad swimmer and an avid Water Polo player, I am relativey adept in the water. I give lessons from those with little to no experience up to those who are confident, but would like to improve their technique/time, whatever age.
I'm a more than happy to cater my lesson structure and methods to fit the student, however I am strong believer in regular practice and commitment as the best way to improvement.
I have been teaching for four years, for 3 different clubs. These included 1 to 1 lessons for those with learning disabilities to classes of up to 10 at a time.
Throughout my time as a teacher, I have not seen a single student not able to move up the next skill set within two terms (Breaststroke has delayed many of the younger students from progressing, and so I have plenty of experience teaching it!).
Volunteering/working for different clubs, I have seen some of my students go on to swim for their respective squads.
