Learning has always been most efficient and easiest for me when having fun so whilst my lessons are educational they are founded on play. The most important thing for me as a teacher is getting to know my student, their interests, what they want to learn and how they learn.
There is no right or wrong way to learn only the best way for you and I will always try to tailor my approach to suit you. This means I welcome your feedback on what works well for you and use a method of trial and error to find the best way to suit you.
Having worked for the Aquatics centre as a part-time Swimming Teacher for a few years along side my medical degree I have gained experience working with a range of ages from 0 - 80 years.
I love the variety that my job brings and am very passionate about swimming as a life skill, means of relaxation and fun form of exercise.
Perfect! Emily is an exceptional swimming teacher; she identified my strengths and weaknesses and helped me work on them with patience, encouragement and being motivating throughout. Emily is extremely flexible making herself available around my diary. I would highly recommend Emily to others looking for lessons whether they be small children or adults
