I am a qualified science teacher, with experience of teaching pupils at primary, secondary and A level. Over the last three years, I have tutored pupils in their homes to assist them in gaining an in-depth understanding of areas of the curriculum that they have struggled with.
I have been a primary and secondary tutor for three years. All my pupils have gone on to achieve good results in their exams. I have experience of teaching science and maths to various exam boards, therefore, I assess any barriers to students' study progress and adapt my teaching materials to take into consideration each individual learning needs.
I have several years’ experience teaching in both BESD and mainstream schools. My experience includes teaching Science from Keystage 3 through to A Level and teaching ICT at Keystage 3 and 4, Maths at keystage 2 and 3. Over the past few years, I have taught Science at Keystage 1,2,3,4 and 5 in ASD settings where on a daily basis, I taught children with at times extremely challenging behaviour. I have planned and written schemes of work for Science and ICT. I have also written and reviewed school development plans and taught AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam board curricula to GCSE level. My present role as a Senco, exams officer and Science teacher involves entering pupils for various exams, applying for access arrangements and teaching Science. I am in the process of developing intervention packages for pupils.

I enjoy cooking English and traditional African foods. I have aspirations to travel once my youngest child is a little older. I like light reading to relax and unwind. I also get pleasure from trips with my children, walking and taking photographs.
