I individualise all my lessons to cater to specific requests from students for content and level. All lessons build communication skills and include a grammar focus to develop a solid grammatical base with a wide range of vocabulary. I use a wide variety of personalised resources to support students for example sentence builders and mind maps to maximise vocabulary and sentence building.

I first engaged with Helen through recommendations from other parents Who's children have had a very positive experience with Helen's tutoring. I have 2 girls who attended Helen's tutoring weekly.1 for French and the other for English. Helen's approach was both professional and friendly and made both my girls feel at ease from day one. Emma ( French Lessons) was lacking
In confidence which hindered her development. 6 months with Helen and her confidence and improvement with her french written & speaking was just amazing, so much so she entered the French spelling Bee and became the Northwest champion which put her in the final at Cambridge university. She also achieved a level 9 at GCSE. Lauren ( English Lessons ) attended weekly with Helen. Her confidence was at Rock bottom with this subject. Through Helen's positive and proactive lesson planning to include homework soon turned Lauren's confidence round. Lauren went from leaving primary school with a level to achieving a level 8 GCSE.
I am so grateful to have met Helen as she has made such a positive impact on my children's education and I can't recommend her highly enough.
Helen was recommended to me by a friend to help progress my son with his French and Spanish. During the time Helen taught my son she created a brilliant rapport with him and therefore inspired him to aim for and surpass all expectations. Through Helen's patience, encouragement and dedication to teach my son the results were that he sat GCE Spanish in year 9 and attained A* and sat GCE French in year 10 and attained A* My son then went on to sit A Level Spanish in year 11 of high school and was awarded a B. I placed my trust in Helen to bring out the best in my son's capabilities and as they say "proof is in the pudding". I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Helen to teach any child and to provide them with the very best support, motivation and skills to succeed. Thank you Helen.
