Whilst at work I teach and support children at Primary age with mathematics as enthusiastically as possible! I completed As-level maths a few years ago and I am very keen to pass on my knowledge. Lesson structure consists of direct learning: I complete the task first, then I complete the task with the child as a pair, followed by the child completing the task themselves.
I've been helping children achieve their best for 6 months now! I've worked within several classes of a primary school working one to one with children in a classroom setting as well as competing group work. My teaching has ensured that these children have reached their full potential!

Perfect! We’ve had Ruth for 3 sessions for Maths lessons with my 8 year old on an ongoing basis. I am confident in Ruth’s teaching. She has been carrying out an ongoing assessment each week; and has tailored each lesson to my son; coming prepared with resources. She also understands the need for sessions to be fun. I am happy with the support she has given so far. We’re glad to continue the lessons on an ongoing basis.
