My teaching strategy is giving the student a choice I feel that it encourages them to read also Acting out the words in a creating physical gestures for challenging words depending on there age also gives them a push to have fun whilst reading. Personally I think it is very important to encourage the student at the end of the lesson playing a word game or something just to keep them entertained and happy for the next reading lesson
