On a personal note, I was a student who struggled in school initially but was fortunate enough to find patient, passionate, engaged and knowledgeable teachers in my later educational years who genuinely changed my life and, without whom, I won't have graduated university. Therefore, I understand and value the importance of such characteristics in teaching. My teaching methodology is that students learn best through fun, interactive lessons. I am also a firm believer that all learners are individual and have their own learning styles, so I ensure that my lesson plans are personalized for each student.
As a experienced online tutor I have taught all ages and abilities, from preschool to adults and complete beginners to advanced learners. My two years of teaching experience includes teaching English as a foreign language and English Literature, as well as supporting students with additional needs. Some of my previous students have come to me for GCSE English Literature tutoring, IELTS support (academic English language exam required for university entrance) and also for help with SATS tests. Education wise, I hold a first class BA in English Literature and a Level Five TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), as well as a Level Two Childcare Qualification.
