- Do you have a personal message for students?
I always take an informal, fun approach to learning, ensuring my singers feel comfortable and helping to boost their confidence. I always suggest appropriate repertoire to sing that further develops technique. Each week we take a look at how their progress is going, from any breakthroughs or good work done the week before, and take this forward to the next stage, so that pupils can track the progress they're making. Please do take a look at my testimonials to get a flavour of how I teach. If you have any questions feel free to call me to chat about your specific learning needs. I look forward to hearing from you!

Teresa has worked with our 12 year old daughter for a year.
...(She) has both gained knowledge and confidence from the sessions and the approach has been one of kindness combined with academic learning.
Teresa has made the lessons fun too... and was always punctual and flexible when we needed to change times of our lesson.
It is a shame to see Teresa leave the area but we wish her well in the future.
I would highly recommend Teresa as a tutor / coach.
Teresa Pells taught my children aged 12 and 9 around 25 lessons before she relocated. The children took to Teresa immediately - despite some previous concerns on their part of having a tutor. The children both benefitted from Teresa's calm and friendly style, which made maths in particular more approachable for them. Teresa was punctual and reliable, and gave feedback promptly after each lesson. I am very happy to recommend her.
We wanted to say a massive thank you for teaching and preparing Lola for her tests. She has really come on, and you have played a huge part in her progress. Many many thanks.
From the onset we have found (Teresa) to be quite committed to her tutoring. We had her tutor our 6 year old daughter for Key Stage 1 English, Mathematics and Handwriting, once a week for 2 hours for the duration that we have known her. Our daughter was much at ease with Teresa's interactive lessons and incorporation of some fun activities into her learning sessions and has started to make good progress as we had hoped with her subjects.
