I believe that student's should be the centre of their classes. This means that the context of the classes should be things the students find interesting, that the content of the classes should be things the students both want to learn and need to learn. I feel there's too much focus on what a student should learn at a certain level, and not enough about what they specifically need to know for their specific situation or that they want to know because it interests them.
I've been an English teacher for six years, and I've been involved in education in some way shape or form for about eight. I hold a TrinityCERT TESOL certificate, a TKT Young Learner's certificate, a bachelor's degree in TESOL and Japanese and a Masters' degree in TESOL.
I've taught students in two continents with ages ranging from adult learners to young children. These have included university students, refugees and asylum seekers. I primarily teach conversation classes and my students always report feeling more confident and more equipped to speak English in the real world.
Due to COVID-19, I am unable to offer face-to-face lessons at present. When the pandemic has been and gone I will be able to work with students on a more personal level.
If you need to cancel a lesson please contact me 24 hours in advance and you will not be charged.

Perfect! My wife had a great introductory lesson with Max. He is a wonderful English tutor and took time to listen to her needs and what her objectives are. There was no stress and the lesson was informal yet professional. We are looking forward to working with Max.
I was asked to help Imran's wife with her English skills. The two of them are both absolutely lovely people with clear ideas of what they're looking for in a teacher and are really accommodating and communicative.
