My usual method is to go through homework or unfinished classwork with the students and guide them through it; explaining the parts they may not understand and then helping them as they attempt to complete the assignment. I also provide some practice papers and worksheets so they can practice newly learned concepts - which is the key to understanding maths and physics.
I have been tutoring for 2+ years helping students exceed their expectations in maths at GCSE. My year at school was the first to complete the new Maths GCSE in which I attained a Grade 9. In addition, I did a separate maths qualification in which I got the highest attainable grade. I have just completed my A Levels in Physics, Maths and Further Maths to start an engineering degree in the autumn (results pending!).
I am an intelligent individual; I enjoy challenges and learning new things. I am a lateral thinker, always thinking outside of the box and with logic, creativity and originality. I am a hard-working and ambitious person, who is passionate for the sciences. I am very focused and determined to get the experience and wisdom I need to guide me in the future. I always try my hardest in everything that I do and aim for the best that I can achieve. I have a passion for helping others, as shown in my experience of tutoring students, both at school as part of a student mentoring scheme and privately.

I enjoy music a lot and I listen to rock music and classical music on a regular basis. This is because it helps me to think deeply, focus or relax.
I am extremely interested in the sciences and maths, and plan on studying engineering in higher education.
