I believe that the best way to learn is through doing problems, therefore my teaching methodology involves the pupil working on questions guided by myself, with the opportunity for them to be independent and choose what we work on each session.
I am a third year Electrical and Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. I have also held an IET Power Academy Scholarship for 2 years and have done two summer placements with Rolls Royce.
I have experience working with children of all ages. I was a Volunteer Brownie young leader for 4 years, have tutored in an S2 Physics class and tutored National 5 Chemistry whilst at school. More recently, I was selected as a mentor for two Strathclyde University outreach programmes- Scottish Space School and the Engineering the future for Girls Summer School.
