Third year mathematics student, offering tutoring in mathematics up to first year undergraduate level in Berkshire.
Methodology
Hi, I'm Abby, I'm 21 years old and study Mathematics at the University of Sheffield. However, I will be at home in Berkshire over August and most of September. I would love to help tackle any problems a student has and understand maths can be a frustrating (but brilliant!) subject at times!
This is my first time tutoring, but I have often helped my friends over the years. I am confident in tutoring students up to A level standard and since I completed my A levels 3 years ago, I have fresh first hand experience.
In regards as how to structure the sessions, I am open to any suggestions from parents and students, as my main goal is to improve the students understanding of the subject and do this in a way best suited to them.
Experience
I have never officially tutored before, although I have often helped my friends over the years.
I have just finished my third year of studying mathematics (Masters) at The University of Sheffield, with a provisional first class and achieved A*s in both A level and GCSE maths.
I am a patient and understand maths can be a hard and frustrating subject at times. If the student does not understand a concept, I will always try my best to find a different way for them to understand it.
Unfortunately, I will be away from home until the beginning of August.
