As part of my tutoring role, I have been using Problem and Project-Based learning strategies in the different subjects. I am extremely organised, propounding a friendly and concise learning environment, fomenting questions and solutions to diverse challenges faced in a normal classroom setting.
I am a petroleum engineer, with more than 6 years of working experience. Holding an MSc in Chemical Engineering. I have been tutoring different university subjects for about 3 years, covering different aspects, from class preparation to delivery.In addition, I have been supporting the outreach team in activities related to STEM (Science, technology, Engineering and Maths), and acting as mentor for a High School located in Glasgow.
Currently, I am undertaking PhD studies (3rd year) in Engineering Education based in the Chemical and Process Engineering Department at the University of Strathclyde, where I concluded an MSc in Advanced Chemical and Process Engineering. My background and experience are as petroleum engineer, where I have been focused on production and production operations areas, mainly, for oil and gas companies. I can integrate myself into multi-cultural settings across any organisation, using effective communication skills when dealing with and facing challenges. I have ample experience and enjoy working as a team, leading different activities as part of services and consulting projects.

o Support class delivery, coach and mentor students, control activities and concept project delivery. Invigilate exams, grades consolidation and administration stuff. Mentoring a group of high school students in science projects.
o Part of a student's group employed by the Accommodation Services, where we provide on-call and on-site support when required, liaise with emergency issues, report any maintenance need, give induction and brief new students’ residents.
