Usually, I help my sister with her BTEC Health and Social Care work.
Currently, I tutor children ages 4 to 14 in Maths and English up to GCSE level at a tuition centre called Explore Learning.
Everyone has a different learning style, so I ask questions to my students to understand whether they are a visual learner, kinaesthetic learner or auditory learner. I use a combination of skills and approaches to choose a method in order to tailor to their learning needs.
I have experience of tutoring students of ages 4 to 14 and I was a Peer Assisted Learning Leader helping undergraduates in their first year with academic skills such as referencing, note taking and essay structure. I facilitated one hour sessions weekly based on a topic of the students choice.
11 GCSES including Grade B in Maths and English.
Highest level qualification: undergraduate degree.
