Tim leads by example -inspires-allows you to occupy your comfort zone, then helps you to stretch way beyond it.His vast knowledge of Jazz, and significant part in it in UK , gives his teaching authenticity and authority. His belief and enthusiasm are infectious. He squeezes every drop of your ability -but with humour and compassion. He is one in a million ;if you choose him as your saxophone tutor you will be doing yourself one of the biggest favours of your life.
I have been studying with Tim for several years and the experience has been inspiring and invaluable. Tim is not only a great player, but a wonderful educator as well. Tim's approach has helped me enormously in learning the language of Jazz and in the technique of the saxophone. His teaching also encourages a much deeper musical thought process which has been profoundly useful, not just for my saxophone playing, but on all aspects of my musical life. Highly Recommended.
