Personal Profile.
I am a friendly & approachable versatile Artist, who has had a broad range of work experience over the past few decades. Having moved to Wales 5 years ago, I am now looking at doing more Art tuition alongside selling my artwork through various outlets, mostly Galleries & shops. I have strong interpersonal skills as well as being a good listener & communicator. I am used to working alone but also enjoy working as part of a team.

Education.
G.C.S.E's 1989 : Art – A, English – C, Classical studies – C, + 6 others
A Level 1992 : Art & Design – B
Foundation Degree 1993 : Art & Design

Work Experience.
Retail, including management roles, glass painter, homeless shelter manager,
merchandiser, carer & senior carer, coffin sander, admin clerk, receptionist, antique mirror frame restoration, antique furniture restoration & various hotel & catering work.

Relevant Art Experience.
I currently tutor at a local Art group (adults), which consists of me doing a demonstration on a chosen technique or subject, followed by the Art group members applying those techniques whilst I give each member one to one
assistance. I have done demonstration to various other groups, some artists
& some interested in the subject matter itself (e.g Falconry), as well as running workshops for the elderly and for children. I also ran an art group tor the National Schizophrenic Fellowship for 2 years. I am a tradition artist who works with pencils, charcoal, pastels, inks, watercolours, acrylic, oils & often a combination of these.

Other interests.
Apart from painting & drawing, I enjoy Archery, walking, tandem mountain biking, making (& eating) good food & listening to vinyl.
