I can provide comprehension tasks, essay structuring skills, help with spelling, help with reading, help with grammar and basic literacy help. I currently teach at a Secondary school up to GCSE level, I am also head of KS3 and so I am able to provide KS3 students with the skills they will need for their GCSE.
I am able to adapt and modify literacy tasks so that they are tailored to meet the needs of the individual student. At the school where I work I conduct a literacy lesson for my classes every week where we cover a different topic each lesson and this helps to prepare them for written assessments.

Having known Emily over the last 5 years and throughout her teaching career, I have nothing but positive praise for her passion and enthusiasm for teaching. Emily is a highly motivated, friendly and most importantly patient individual, giving as much time as is needed to help those whom she works with. Emily has demonstrated her commitment and ability in teaching, having been promoted to Key Stage 3 leader within the first year of passing her NQT year.
Emily is extremely diligent, reliable and hard working. Her commitment to teaching is second to none in school and I know she'll give the same focus and attention in a tutorial environment. Emily really cares about the progress of her students and I would recommend her to anyone.
