As briefly described above my major subejcts of teaching and research have been Arabic language and the allied content. Mostly I have taught adult students, both graduates and non-graduate students.
My methods are both teacher-centered and learner-centered. Thus I give lectures and invites questions during or after the class. However, I also ask the learners to get together to discuss things among themselves. Sometimes, I ask the students to come forward and say something in front of the class, this gives them a boast and confidence , thus preparing them for the future.
My background is teaching, research, and translation. The main subjects include Middle Eastern Studies and thus most of the time I have taught Arabic and other allied subjects. As far as English is concerned I have a number of certificates in teaching Adults and children and have taught English (ESOL) on one-to-one basis. However, I have taught Arabic-related subjects in English.
Yes, if i have to travel then at least £5 will be added if the student's residence is in Luton area. Otherwise, a different rate will be dtermined keeping in view the distance.
