Experience

I first fell in love with tutoring when I realised how much of an impact I had on students. I worked as a tutor in a professional firm for a year in which I tutored in both classroom settings and 1-1 and I also worked privately tutoring students in their homes. Watching my students grow their grades and grow as people made me appreciate my job a lot more and proved to me how a little bit of mentoring can go a very long way. Not only were their grades improving but also their confidence in school leading to them excelling in subjects I was not even teaching and extra-curricular activities. My style of teaching is known to be unorthodox; I like to bring my sessions alive by making them more interactive and appealing for the students. I understand that each student is different which is why I made sure to get to know each student better and thus be able to tailor my teaching to their individual needs. It was my personal teaching style that caught the eye of professional Secondary School and Sixth Form teachers in which I was offered an all expense paid teaching and PGCE course.
My credentials include 11 GCSES-9A*s and 3 As; I received an A* for Triple Sciences, Maths and both English Literature and Language. I also earned 4 A Levels- an A for Biology, A for Accounting, B for Chemistry and B Maths. I am currently a student at the University of Strathclyde studying Accounting and Finance.
Lesson will be delivered on ZOOM.
I teach all KS2 and below subjects but specialise primarily in Maths, English, and Science.
For KS3 and GCSE I specialise in Maths, Science and English for all exam boards.
For A-Levels I specialise in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Accounting.
My prices are :
KS2 and below Classroom Setting (session with more than 10 students)-£8/hr
KS2 and below 1-1: £10/hr
KS3 and GCSE Classroom Setting (session with more than 10 students)- £10/hr
KS3 and GCSE 1-1: £15/hr
A Level Classroom Setting (session with more than 10 students)- £15/hr
A Level 1-1: £20/hr
I keep my prices low because I believe that everyone should have access to good education, and I understand that during these times money is an issue for a lot of people. Although the price is low your lessons will be delivered to the highest standards and I absolutely guarantee your grades will improve.
My lessons will also be recorded meaning that if you have missed a lesson and would like to catch up with the class you can purchase a recorded lesson. All my lessons will be taught with a suitable curriculum which all students will have access to, and they will be assessed through homework and assignments and will receive feedback regularly. You will have my continuous support throughout your studies; education and support does not end after the hour!
