My teaching method is to assess the students strengths and weaknesses in the chosen subject area, whether it be mathematics or chemistry, and use practice questions to focus on these areas for teaching. When revising and preparing for A - level exams the best method to ensure the highest marks is to do as many practice questions as possible and to do them under timed conditions wherever possible. To that end my lessons will always have an element of timed exam questions from the exam board that the student is learning. I am also happy to assist with any homework questions the student may be struggling with.
I am a 1st year Chemistry MSci student currently studying at UCL. Chemistry at UCL is a mathematically rigorous subject, we take 2 mathematics modules in year 1, the first focused on revising and extending A-level mathematics and further mathematics, covering all of the pure mathematics modules of the A Level syllabus i.e. C1, C2, C3, C4, FP1, FP2, and FP3. I am also more than proficient in teaching M1 and S1 from the A-level maths syllabus.
