I will prepare lesson plans based on the demands of the student, and needed areas of improvement. So for example, if it is focused on reading comprehension, I will bring along texts appropriate to the level of the student. If it is to improve speaking, we will do speaking exercises. My classes will have conversational approach, focusing on the familiarity with the language. Depending on the age of the student, I will base my lessons on how to capture their attention- so if it is a child, I will prepare flashcards and incline on a more visual learning experience. I will also plan on having a pop quiz, after a couple lessons, at the start of every lesson.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish, fluent in French, and advanced in Mandarin. I really enjoy teaching and have experience in teaching groups to individual students, and from primary to professional adults. I have tutored Spanish to IGCSE students, English to Chinese adults (ages 30-35) and Spanish children (ages 7-13), Beginner's Chinese and Economics to IB students (ages 17-18).
If you would like to cancel a class, you must notify me 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
