About the lesson
I'll be pushing you to develop your originality. I want you to approach the English language (in all its forms) in a way that inspires you and ensures you get the top grade.
My lessons are 45 minutes to an hour (depending on your deadlines) and I am happy to teach anyone at any level of High School.
In particular, I can help across the subjects of drama and literature, having a degree in acting as well as my current degree in Literature.
I have taught children aged 5-16 drama, and I know just the level of energy you need to get the most from your students.

About Matthew
I am an English Literature student at UCL (BA). I also have a degree in acting, and I adore all things theatre. My approach is to develop your flare and enthusiasm, I want you to engage with the work even if it means we take a few detours. I know the mark-scheme well (will adapt depending on your exam board), and I will always push you to get to the top of the class.
If you have a particular interest in drama, I also offer sessions to bridge the gap between language and theatre - this is particularly useful for Shakespeare or for the entire Drama GCSE curriculum. (I can also offer some guidance by way of film if you are interested.)
