My teaching approach changes depending on the child and the way they learn. Usually I will use white boards and colourful pens to provide visuals as well as building blocks or counters as others will prefer the touch sense when learning. Therefore, I am flexible. For parents or children who are unsure of how they like to learn a combination of these methods is ideal until one becomes a preference. However repetition of topics is essential for retention to i will ask questions on the previous two lessons to ensure it was retained.
