I am a 3rd Year student in Education Studies at UCL and I have dedicated my dissertation to metacognitive techniques in formal educational environment. My methods of teaching involve techniques of building a knowledge base for the learner, which could work as a framework for independant knowledge and skill acquisition.
My first personal tutoring experience was 6 years ago during my A-levels, I was the leader of my school's chess club and explained theory and tactics to members.
One of my key students had achieved an official FIDE rating after his participation in London Chess Classic in 2016.
Mathematics lessons I gave were mostly for students from Russia who need to adapt to the A-level curriculum, specially in Further Mathematics.
