I am an undergrad med student and can provide tutoring at GCSE, AS/A level.
Through my own studies I have realised the importance of finding out your particular learning style, and this is something I encourage my tutees to do.
I make use of all available resources (they usually involve lots of colour!) and try to help my tutees find the ways in which they learn, recall and apply their knowledge best.
Lesson structure varies from person to person, and I will try my best to individualise lesson plans for tutees to the learning methods that suits them.
I am friendly/approachable, but also hard-working and organised; I will always aim to help my tutee achieve the grade they deserve.
Tutored pupils of all abilities at GCSE level and above at my secondary school (since 2011)
Pupils achieved their target grades as set by their teachers (A*-B); I was able to provide extra support and additional learning methods.
Currently in Year 2 of an MBChB
Did 2 years previously on a Clinical Sciences BSc
Tutored pupils since I was a Year 11 student, and also founded and ran a science club for 2 years as Biology Prefect (which at times also doubled up as an extra study session).
Was a STEM outreach officer.
