I have mainly taught children at primary school age, but have also helped guide and teach GCSE and A Level students. I enjoy guided discussion rather than textbook teaching, but know that each syllabus requires achievement of structure and use this as a basis.
I achieved A* in English Literature at A Level and worked in a Primary School teaching Hearing and Learning impaired children ages 4-11 for a year. I helped with SATs preparation and taught group lessons. Currently achieving 2:1/1st in degree.
If the distance is quite far, preferably I would like payment for the bus fare. I may also change prices according to the Education level e.g Primary School or A Level.
Current: English Literature at Durham University - 2:1/1st
A Levels: English Literature, Classical Civilisation, Philosophy Religion and Ethics, History (up to AS Level)
GCSE: 9 achieved in both English Literature and Language
I am also qualified in up to Level 3 British Sign Language.
Previous employment: Teaching Assistant to Hearing and Learning impaired, Lifeguard, Health Care Worker.
