I am an undergraduate law student with a GCSE and A Level qualification in Sociology receiving an A in both. I am giving lessons to those who study Sociology GCSE and would like to get their head around the basic concepts within ethics and particular areas of the subject. I find that the best way to learn sociology is to learn the concepts with the use of examples and analogies. Practicing exam questions after understanding a topic is also vital and will help project knowledge into a format that will be assessed.
Being a law student I have the ability to project my knowledge in a understandable and articulate fashion. I have previous experience in tutoring for other subjects which has led to student success, for instance, becoming winners of a competition for the subject I tutored them in. This will be my first time teaching sociology, and knowing my qualifications in this subject and my skills for tutoring, I will be able to provide an efficient service.
