I like being receptive to the student(s) and the pace of learning that they require. In each lesson I will have a loose plan of what I would like to teach but am always happy to divert to what the student would like to talk about if there is not an exam coming up! In problems, I prefer to let the student do as much as possible independently before taking them through a step by step analysis of the question and clearly going through the steps of the answer.
I have taught and performed music in Primary schools in the last 2 years and have tutored Maths to students up to GCSE level. I believe my Maths tutoring works well as I give a clear methodology that works for students of all ages. Music is my passion and I would love to share my knowledge on Composition, Theory, Jazz history, Arranging and anything else musical! I was a chorister when I was younger and I still sing a lot so I would be open to giving singing lessons too.
A one hour lesson will cost £25 and a two hour lesson costs £45. If I drive to you, I will be considering petrol money as an extra
