I am an Undergraduate Psychology student but have also worked as a Teaching Assistant at 2 Secondary Schools where I taught my own small classes of students or aided them with their work within class. I have taught up to GCSE level English and Maths- I also got an A* in both these subjects at school.
I created very specialised revision resources to aid my students with their studies that, depending on their level, broke things down in order for them to be able to revise thoroughly and fully understand the content they are learning about.
My teaching style adapts to every student I teach as everyone is individual in how they learn. However I am very good at breaking complex subjects down into more manageable and understandable terms as this is how I learnt when I was at school. I throughly break topics down and explain things in an organised and thoughtful way in order to make sure everyone not only understands the topic but can also adapt and develop ideas in exam conditions.
I think it is important for students to recap their knowledge all of the time to make sure they're not just memorising facts but actually understanding whats being taught.
I am a very patient and thoughtful person who has great interpersonal skills and can adapt my teaching style to suit whom ever I am helping.
I am currently in my 2nd year of University studying BSC Psychology and hope to then go on to complete a Doctorate Degree in order to become an Educational Psychologist.
I took a couple of years off before starting University where I was a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school and aided students within their classes and also took small classes of my own, as well as creating revision resources of my own and aiding with a lot of the administrative tasks and data for the department I worked in. Also I volunteered at another secondary school for students with special educational needs and disabilities.
I am also registered as an adult support worker in my home as my parents are foster carers and also occasionally nanny for 2 autistic boys.
Additionally I am a Brown belt in Shotokan Karate where I was also was a junior instructor.

Georgia is a fantastic tutor. She listens to what to have to say, she is honest with you, telling you exactly where she believes you are falling down, she is kind and polite and she explains not only how to answer the papers and she also explains why, which I believe is very important to students.
