I offer online tutoring aswell to make it more convenient for us. For GCSE students I will look at the exam board and learn a bit about how the student works. For primary and secondary students,I will need a syllabus or some info from you about what they are learning etc in order tutor accordingly.
I do not have any experience in teaching but I thought of setting up my own business after uni and therefore thought tutoring now will give me a great experience. I have had experience with working with children as I was an assistant coach at children's badminton club.
I am currently a first year student at the University of Derby studying
Mathematics BSc (Hons). I am hard working, reliable and motivated
with the ability to work under pressure. I enjoy a challenge and take
pride in the work I do.

I have previously worked at Subways. I worked there for over a year
and gained confidence during this time. Working as a team was a key
skill that I built upon. I improved my communication skills by talking
to customers frequently. This job has made me more aware of how
important being punctual is but also has set me up for any other future
My first work experience was between April 2012 and February 2015
when I started delivering booklets in my local area for Look Local.
I have also had work experience at Mills and Reeve Ltd
(Birmingham) in 2013 where I worked there for a week. Mills and
Reeve are a solicitors firm with many departments including: IT,
Finance and Real Estate etc. I really enjoyed it very much and had to
commute by train each day. It gave me an excellent insight and hands-
on experience to an actual working day.
I am currently in the process of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award
and have successfully completed the expedition. I have also
completed the skill, physical and volunteering sections. I volunteered
at the British Heart Foundation once a week. I learned many skills
their including: customer services, stockroom sorting, stacking
shelves, steaming garments, working at the till and working as part of
As I like to keep active, I play Badminton regularly. I enjoy it as it
keeps me fit and healthy. Furthermore it refreshes my mind and helps
me meet new people.
