My teaching method really involves ways to memorise information efficiently, with such subjects they are fundamentally built to test how much we can remember. However, I will not only help with providing strategies to remember certain information but I will tackle each material with proficency and clarity until it is completely understood. The explanation I give is imaginative, subjects such as chemistry and biology do not only consist of a myriad of different information, but it is enriched with information that can be easily understood if it is imagined. I will help with that, as many students struggle with such.
I am currently a Univeristy student doing Chemistry, first year. Having a younger brother, I have always been able to help him and his friends with any obstacles they have in the Chemistry and Biology subjects. For A-level I took Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA) and Maths (EDEXCEL) thus I have deep understanding in those subjects. I was a prefect and a student mentor and was always picked to help students younger or the same age as me.

I am a mature, reliable and honest individual. I’m described as friendly, polite, self-motivated and determined. I am able to work both using my own initiative by having good interpersonal skills and also within a team setting. I am always willing to learning new skills with great passion and will tackle any obstacle with enthusiasm. I am able to identify and develop opportunities by seeking new responsibilities within a wide range of employment areas. I am easily inspired and curious with given responsibility and will give my all in excelling in any given tasks.
Worked with senior Catechists in preparing children First Holy Communion. I had responsibilities which gave me an appreciation of the joys and challenges the role entails. I was able to develop strong verbal and written communication skills when teaching children; it involved working as a team when it came to organising teaching material as well as being reliable and dependable.
Help me develop a professional and sensitive approach when handling patient data, which is important when carrying out chemical experiments. I recognise the importance of organised administration skills where I worked both independently and with others, improving my communication skills in both instances. It is particularly vital, that others can easily interpret the data; this calls for meticulous organisational skills and the ability to organise cohesive data; key to a smoothly running system. This confirmed my desire to pursue a career in chemical research.
These roles have been instrumental in forming my character, they've given me discipline and most of all they have given me a love for service, a spirit of teamwork and the joy of shared values of goals. From doing A- level I was able to take ownership for projects and work to time limits, an example of where both these skills were required was when doing EPQ. Furthermore, the laboratory work that I will be carrying out during my degree in Chemistry, will allow me to get involved in challenging projects and experiments and will involve analytical and problem skills; as chemistry is intertwined with mathematical and physical aspects. Having been assistant Head Girl and Science Prefect, I took every opportunity available to help the community, gaining leadership and organisational skills, which are certainly transferable to this job.
