I am a first year student at Kings College London with a love for science that I want to share with others! I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of every individual child as no one struggles with the same topics. Usually I give lessons for an hour but this can be reduced to less for younger children or increased if needed.
Having a copy of the recommended syllabus text book or revision guide is extremely useful however I also teach exam technique.
Each exam at every level will not simply require knowledge from the syllabus but the familiarity with the exam paper to place your knowledge in context which I can help with.
I have been teaching privately at Key stage 2, 3 and GCSE level for the last 3 years as well as volunteering as a year 9 biology classroom assistant during my A levels. During this time I have been tutoring privately 10 students on a long term basis whilst completing my own qualifications.
