Having been learning Spanish for over 9 years and spending a year in Latin America, I have been able to gain a detailed insight into how Spanish lessons are best taught. Alongside following the curriculum, I want to be teaching useful phrases and vocabulary for everyday conversation in Spanish, and I believe this will generally make the lessons more fun and engaging! Using this approach whilst incorporating essential vocabulary and grammar is how I prepared for my exams and it worked out well!
I'm Charlie and I just graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2.1 degree in Spanish.
I have experience tutoring students between the ages of 6 and 10 Spanish during my gap year. Furthermore, I worked as a language assistant in Buenos Aires at the BA English House for 5 months, where I was teaching groups of both children and adults within a classroom environment.
I am graduate from the University of Bristol with a 2.1 degree in Spanish. I'm hard working, motivated and quick to learn. I’m very sociable and easy going, and I believe that I would fit well into a team of like-minded people, whilst maintaining the standards of your company. Energetic and supportive interaction with the clients is paramount. From personal experience in tutoring and teaching in a classroom environment, I have learnt key communication skills with people. Therefore, I believe I have the maturity and common sense to deliver tutoring lessons in an amiable and dynamic way. A year ago I lived and worked in Buenos Aires for 5 months teaching English to both children and adults. This gave me an insight into communication with other cultures, developed my independence and I gained valuable experience in how best to teach and interact with people.
