I am currently in my third and final year at Bristol University studying Social Policy and Sociology (BSc). I have a real interest in people and culture and how different societies function.
My favourite thing about sociology is reading the theory in the classroom and recognising it in practise in the real world.
In my lessons, we will go through what you don't understand, revision techniques, help with exam preparation and anything else you need help in.
I have been a tutor since I was 16 and so would say I am experienced, therefore, I want you to enjoy learning but of course pass your exams and reach your full potential!
I have been tutoring since I was 16, teaching children from aged 5 to aged 17 in a range of subjects such as Maths, English, Non-verbal & Verbal Reasoning, History, Science, Religious Studies and Sociology, on a variety of different levels. Not only have my students passed their exams with flying colours, but they have found confidence and a love of learning with me.
2hrs in a row for £40.
I obtained an A* in Sociology A-level, an A in History A-level, and an A in English Literature A-level.
I also obtained 6 A*s and an 4 As in my GCSEs.
I have previously worked at a range of PR companies as well as being a Student Ambassador for amazon.co.uk
I have also spent the past two summers working at a Summer Camp in California.
Jess is great at bringing out the best in people. She is very down to earth and easy to talk to and was extremely patient with my son who has learning difficulties and finds it hard to concentrate and retain information. Jess built my son's confidence and helped him every step of the way. I overheard their tutee sessions and was extremely impressed with her approach.
