It is increasingly important first to identify with my tutors where they believe they need to improve and also set a few tasks in the opening lessons for me to gauge an understanding of where they are at.
Once we have done this, I have a huge variety of resources, past papers and mark schemes that we can use to cover different topics in order to address certain issues and have a great time doing so.
I like setting independent tasks for students to get on with but only once I feel they are able to do so confidently. I believe in going through tasks fist with them, making note taking essential and helping their understanding before letting them try.
It is important that my tutees ask me as many questions as possible, no question is a bad question and I want my pupils to feel comfortable asking me for help.
Lots of previous experience as a tutor working for MyTutor and helping with online tutoring on the government schemes during lockdown over the past year.
I have also worked in primary schools teaching.
I believe I can really help and have a positive impact on your child's learning.
