A fourth year mechanical engineering student, with experiencing teaching others in small groups or individually, especially for people doing N5 up to Advanced Higher.
I like to teach by breaking down the problem as much as possible for the learner to piece together themselves, allowing them to develop their own understanding. After having experienced the inadequacies of teaching methods employed by my teachers/lecturers, my aim is to fill in the blanks and get things across in a way that is centred around the student.
I've not done any formal teaching, other than helping out after school when I was in high school, and helping my fellow students in my course, and I'm still continuing to help and tutor friends in high school with continued success.
