I will do my utmost to support the student; acting as a personal mentor if they wish - giving them advice, such as revision/study tips and how to do well in exams.
I teach students in a very simple, but effective manner, so the student knows exactly what to do in each session. This includes:
- practise papers
- custom papers (made by me) with questions suited to the candidate to help strengthen weak areas/topics
- quizzes (short multiple choice questions that are there to test understanding, but are better versions of "starters" in schools)
- flashcards (custom made) to help the student if they struggle with memorisation or remembering equations/formulae
I am a Physics student, studying Physics and Mathematics at the University of Manchester (a top 5 ranked UK university).
I have taught two GCSE students thus far; each in their respective year of final exams - giving me 2 years of experience as a young tutor.
Both students saw a big jump in their mocks and final exams, one of them achieving a grade 7 in mathematics after starting the year at a grade 3, in the course of just a couple of months of teaching.

Set up a business company called Honeycomb Bears, which consisted of designing, manufacturing and selling re-homed teddy bears with an educational story.
