I have always found Biology to be very interesting however I know from personal experience that some aspects of it can be difficult to wrap your head around. I know all students are unique and I try to cater my lessons to the individual and what they find most helpful to ensure they can get the most from the lessons.
When I was at secondary school I took part in peer mentoring schemes, assisting younger students who found themselves struggling academically as well as acting as a teaching assistant for some time at our sister school, Kayamandi Secondary School, in South Africa.
