University student in Economics and Politics teaching primary school maths in Oxford
Methodology
Hi there,
My name is Sofia and I am currently studying Economincs and Politics at University. I worked as a maths and English teaching assistant last year at a primary school, also giving one on one lessons in that time. My teaching methods are dependent on the child's needs and abilities, I have a number of resources and approaches to nurture each child's specific needs,
I am looking to teach primary school level Maths and/or English. I am a friendly and professional young woman who has lots of experience with children!
Experience
I worked at a primary school for a year during my year off. During that time I was responsible for one on one teaching of maths and English to the children. Furthermore, whilst babysitting I am asked to help the children with their homework and understanding of certain subjects.
I find it very rewarding to know that a child leaves my sessions with a greater understanding of their subject or a specific problem.
