Work Experience and Skills

• Johal and Company Accounting Firm (March– April 2017)

Time management: Being an assistant to accountants, I had to take over roles such as making and filling out invoices, which had to be completed in due time. Also, I had to go through documents and retrieve specific information from quarters, in which I also had to use my time efficiently, in order to make sure the firm did not fall behind.

Organizational Skills: In working for an account, I had to make sure that all information that was inputted was correct, as for each client it was important that invoices, and ex-penditure were organized in order for information to put through correctly.

IT Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint: Working for an accountancy, I had to deal with logging and filing information on Excel, as well as write letters to clients on Microsoft words, thus I gained numerous technical skills.

• Natural History Museum Volunteer Saturday 30th June 2018

Through my Volunteering experience, I was able to reach key milestones through refining my organizational skills, providing help to the museum in a project to correctly identify and organize a specific set of species.

• BOOST education– Tutor (Ilford)(November 2017–October 2018)

Communication skills: Not only as a tutor did I have to communicate with students, but al-so parents efficiently, providing the best customer service I could in order to meet their satisfactions.

Leaderships skills: Many times, I had to take a leadership role in organizing students to assigned tutors as well as taking a role of representing the establishment and guiding new recruitments to also achieve outstanding results.

Team work skills: As a Tutor, I was often expected to help others, as well as communicate with other Tutors in order to maintain the establishments reputation, which meant that we had to often share idea’s as well as encourage other individual’s to share and progress with certain idea’s, as a team making them possible.

• Private Tuition ( January 2018–– Present)

As a private tutor this has allowed me to be a flexible in all part in my life, but also has al-lowed my character to become more flexible and able to easily adapt to new challenges. I am able to not only expand and keep my organisational skills intact, but I also take a leadership role, guiding students to success in academic aspects.

I also provide students and parents with outlined lesson plans, further expanding my or-ganisational skills, but also this links with communicative skills, as I have to orate to par-ents what specifically I am doing with children, achieving customer satisfaction.

Hobbies & Interests

As an active and outgoing individual, I like to spend my personal time in sporting activities. This interest of mine has allowed me to excel as I am currently a black-silver belt in Wing Chun Kung Fu. Additionally, having gained in Thai Boxing and Kick Boxing, it has further allowed me to excel as an active individual. Apart from my sporting activities, I am also an avid reader, having interest in historical literary works, as well as taking an interest in any contemporary works.

I also help to fundraise for charities through activities such as bake sales or different pop up stands in my school. I am due to skydive later in the year for charity as well as hope to continue this throughout the future. Furthermore, I try to regularly help the homeless in terms of food or clothing, providing care for those who need it. This proves to be extremely self-rewarding, as not only am I made more aware of different backgrounds but allows me to help provide to a good cause and hopefully encourages others to do the same.

Furthermore, through my academic interests, I have also volunteered in historical activities in the Natural History Museum, which was a different experience. I found this to be quite interesting, as I was able to expand more of my historical knowledge, and also currently am in the process of do-ing more volunteer work of other museums, as I have plans of expanding my knowledge to a great extent.
