I base my teaching on a specific topic per lesson, so having a list of what areas will be covered gives the student a chance to refresh before the lesson this also ensures I can provide and put together the most useful sources and worksheets. However, if the student wants to specifically go through a certain topic I can tailor around and ensure they are happy with the lesson and they are satisfied.
