My prime objective is to enhance understanding and promote development in the set subject area for you or your child. Sessions range from 1-2 hours where a topic of concern is worked through - this could be by going over questions that pose difficulty or teaching a whole topic. Questions based around the topic will be set by me after sessions to maximise understanding of the topic.
I've been a tutor for young learners for 3 years at Kumon and I have also been a private tutor for one year so have taught a variety of children. I specialise in Maths leading up to GCSE level and all lessons taught have been unique depending on the way each child learns to ensure their understanding is maximised. Significant improvement has been sighted in younger students whilst those at GCSE levels have increased their grades by at least one grade higher than their level prior to tuition.

We met Eloise several months ago after my husband and I decided our son Billy would benefit from some additional tutoring. Our son is 5 years old, and was quite nervous before his first session. Eloise put Billy at ease almost immediately, she's really friendly and has built up a good rapport with Billy.
As the months went by, Billy began to become more confident with his phonics and for the first time he passed his spelling test. Which he has now kept up several weeks in a row.
We are super happy with the improvements in Billy's work, and even his teacher has informed us that she has noticed him partake and speak up more in the classroom.
We can't thank Eloise enough, and we would highly recommend her.
I am fortunate to have been a friend to Eloise for more then decade in school and have been able to see her grow as a person. Eloise's caring ,dedication and work ethic are a few of many reasons as to why she would be a impeccable tutor. Whilst studying for her a levels , she not only maintained her A-A* ratio in the subjects of Physics, Maths and Government and Politics she also worked as a tutor for the company Kumon. I strongly believe that this demonstrates her endurance as a worker , her hard working mentality and dedication not only to her studies but to ensuring that her students could achieve the best grades possible. Being in close quarters with Eloise I have seen her not only tutor for Kumon but help some of the students that were in our a level class achieve the maximum grade possible. To define Eloise merely as trustworthy wouldn't elaborate on the numerous chatacteristics she has. As stated, Eloise's hard work and dedication has not only helped her become a valuable tutor but has affected the friends and people around her also achieve their goals and has enabled us to develop a zealous attitude to our work. Eloise is a very approachable and down earth person who will always help students with any queries regarding a subject area that they find difficulty in. To summarise the discourse of this letter, I strongly believe that Eloise would not only be a trustworthy tutor; she would also enrich the students with her endeavours attitude to study.
