As a tutor, I aim to create a fun and open learning environment, where children learn to love learning, and look forward to each session. I approach each student as an individual, tailoring my approach to their needs. I focus on areas of difficulty, whilst offering young people challenges in the areas which they excel. I aim to make each lesson fun and enjoyable, and encourage students to have the confidence to ask for help. I offer both formal and informal sessions. Formal session are much more structured, focusing on particular topics and exam techniques, whereas informal sessions are driven by what the student feels they need to cover at that particular moment in time, which can range from something that they found difficult in school that week, to homework that they are having trouble completing independently. Regardless of whether a student chooses to have a formal or informal structure, my aim of creating a fun and open learning environment remains constant, in an attempt to encourage children to engage with and enjoy the work that they complete.
I am a Philosophy and Politics student, with A-Level qualifications in English Literature, Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics, and History. I have been a tutor for three years, teaching both maths and English, tutoring for companies and privately. I have worked with around 300 children from the ages of 4-16, and love helping children to grow in confidence, developing new skills and a passion for learning.

I strongly recommend Kasie, she is really committed to teaching every single English lesson and always ensures that I understand everything. She’s a calm and confident character when it comes to teaching new skills.
Kasie has been tutoring my daughter for the last year In maths and English she is absolutely incredible I don’t think she would have got through her GCSEs without her. The difference has been amazing and she makes tutoring enjoyable. I really can’t recommend Kasie enough. She is a very talented young lady. Thank you again Kasie.
