Hi, I'm a Biotechnology student, who's extremely enthusiastic about teaching Maths, and English.
Normally, I tend to first analyse a student's ability and areas of improvement by a few tests, and then I keep track of any progress that may happen, with follow ups. During the sessions, I'll go through any questions the students have in as much detail as possible, through an online whiteboard.
For making sure it's memorised, I normally remind them again every few weeks. It's especially useful, if they have upcoming tests.
I've had at least a year of experience, from tutoring around 5 primary school kids, just last year. They've all shown improvement, through patience, and two of them increasingly became the top of their class. My younger brother is an example; he's only in year 2, yet he can do work up to year 4.
Besides tutoring, I have also worked as an assistant primary teacher for a few weeks. It's shown me great team work, and communication skills with younger children, as well as making me much more outgoing.
Currently, I'm beginning my first year studying Biotechnology, at Edge Hill University.
I teach English at primary school level, and Maths till GCSE level, and up to now, it's still something I thoroughly enjoy.
