It is important to motivate the student at first. Then we should start with improving the techniques and after that we will work on phrasing, dynamics, etc. At the end, the student will be in love with playing the violin while enjoying it as well. I have played in various chamber music ensembles, as a soloist, leader, concertmaster in orchestras and I have also played different music genres at gigs, concerts, events, performances, etc. I have experience in playing in orchestras including the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, etc and playing in countries like Bulgaria, Switzerland, China, Greece, Germany, England, Austria, Netherlands, Italy, etc. I have also worked with famous professors and performers and played as a travelling and as a guest-musician. I have made numerous musical recordings including places like the most famous Abbey Road Studios with the Abbey Road Institute and many other and I have had various interviews, auditions, competitions, masterclasses, charity events, orchestrations, compositions, etc. In July 2019 I got a professional qualification in skills for music. I have also been an assistant of my violin professor and a scholarship student. I give music theory, orchestral parts, chamber music, violin, piano and other music lessons to children and students who find it difficult to play and understand these instruments and I support conducting and other exams of students as well.
In terms of my teaching style, I love to hear what my students want to play. I can accept everything they want if it suits their style and ability to play. I can also suggest my students different pieces and studies which will develop the techniques. We usually start the lesson with warm up-scales. A very important exercise for all of the techniques. I can also suggest some concertos which will develop the overall musicianship of the students including working on phrasing, dynamics, character, style, etc. During the lessons with the instrument I focus on theory as well which can not be omitted while learning playing an instrument. The enjoyment and the discipline should be equal as attention so the development can be accurate. I believe that when following this teaching style and scheme the students will make an incredible progress and will be accepted in every school, college, university or academy they want to apply for or for their own personal progress. So far, my students have been enjoying the lessons and have made an enormous progress.
In terms of my previous experience, it includes the Marie De Bry Arts Academy-London, Lycaeum, Superprof, The Academy of Music, Tutorful, Tutorhunt, Tutorfair, Music Teachers UK, Music Beyond, Arts Academy, local schools and colleges, etc. By being an assistant of my professor I managed to learn the right approach to teaching. I can also prepare students for ABRSM and other exams.
She is professional violinist and very good methodology teaching. She is nice person and very friendly. She studied with some of the best teachers in the music school and academy. So there are music tours and recordings in different countries.
The best violin teacher!!!
Great communication skills with children and amazing teaching methodology!
Me and Karmen studied at the same music school in the same class, that is how i know her. She was always on top if all the studies and had the highest marks amongst her peers, and was one of the best players at the time. Because of good tutors and a lot of determination she is standing here now. Karmen has considerable experience with playing in small and large groups, from duos and trios to a full simphonic orchestra, has helped with and tutored young people in a variety of age and skill groups in solo playing, group playing, solfeggio(solfège), music theory and more. She is well tempered and mannered, patient, caring, understanding, determined, inspired and she is always striving self-improvement. I may be a little biased as her friend, but as colleague and a fellow artist, who has worked professionally with her, I am confident that my description is subjective as possible.
I have no words to say! It is my pleasure for having a teacher like her! I am not a student and I thought I have no career with the violin but since I started my lessons with her I just improve fast and she even helped me to find the perfect job. Now I study my Master`s degree and before that completed the Bachelor`s because of her! She is just amazing! Contact her immediately!
